One of grandad's favourite things was watching all the wildlife which surrounds the cabin. We left some food out and were visited
numerous times by the squirrels, and a variety of birds. We heard the owl a couple of times at night and saw rabbits around too.

Brockholes Visitor Centre - a short pushchair
ride away, lots to do for children of all ages and the best adventure playground ever! Daddy liked it here as it was all free!

One aspect of our stay we really enjoyed was the feeling we were in a treehouse! Loved watching the birds and also saw deer from the window.

Where do we start? The Lakes are just FAB. Our first visit and staying in the lodge just made it extra special. We found the location fantastic for getting
